Styrene Signs Material

We digitally print all of our custom styrene signs on white material with full color and full bleed. Our customers have the option of choosing between 0.03" Styrene or 0.06" Styrene. 

0.03" Styrene is very flexible and is easily stored by rolling into a tube  0.06" Styrene is more rigid, and cannot be rolled due to the thickness of the material.

The standard finishing option for this Styrene Signage is square-cut corners, but we can also shape-cut the corners for you if you would prefer.

The maximum print size for styrene signs is a 4 foot by 8 foot sign. You can select one of our custom sizes from the drop-down menu.

All 0.06" Styrene signs over 32"x48" or any sign where the H + W is 81 inches or greater are shipped via freight, for more information, visit our oversized flat shipping page.

The standard finishing for styrene signs is square cut. The following options are available:

  • Printed with a full bleed (the ink goes all the way to the edge of the sign)
  • Square cut standard
  • Shape cuts available when you work with a customer service representative
  • Single or double sided signs

Artwork Specs / File Tips

  • Uploaded files must be under 100 MB. 
  • 1/4” bleed per side is needed for Sintra and Styrene signs
  • Keep text and important images at least 2" away from the edge
  • Convert all text to outlines
  • Make sure no elements are selected for “Overprint”
  • Using black ink:
    *We recommend choosing rich black (100-100-100-100) over CMYK (0-0-0-100). Rich black is true black — it has a less charcoal gray appearance *

Requirements for setting up a 4x8 sheets

  • ¼” bleed (per side)
  • ¼” away from edge of the sheet
  • ½” spacing between signs

Files that print best are:

  • .eps
  • .pdf

**Please note if your artwork contains complex gradients, textures, patterns or you are creating it in a design software, please flatten your artwork to avoid any printing issues**

We can also print 300 dpi or higher resolution files:

  • .tif
  • .jpg
  • .png

We print in four color CMYK or six color CMYKLcLm. Please keep this in mind when submitting files for printing as color tone shifting may happen if file is submitted in RGB format. If there is a specific PMS color you need, please specify that to us when submitting your order so we can help you verify that the proper color mix is used (vector artwork only).

Customer supplied files are printed as they are received so we cannot guarantee color, clarity or final output as we are just printing the supplied files and have not set them up for printing.

All of our printers are calibrated daily to International Color Consortium (ICC) coloring profile standards to ensure accurate color production.

All signs must be paid for prior to being put into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. We also accept checks. Checks must be received before your order is put into production.

We will not charge your credit card until you have approved your proof for your order.

Please note that we do have a minimum order of $30.00 if you are choosing to pay with a check.

Shipping Information

Please specify which shipping method you would like when you place your order or it will be shipping via UPS Ground.

Shipping prices are determined by the weight of the package and the destination. Additional shipping charges apply to large orders and over-sized packages. If you are located outside of the Continental United States, please contact us for a shipping quote.

We now offer economy shipping as an option. We have a selection of economical courier services that we use for domestic shipping. Using economy shipping can add an additional 5 - 10 days, depending on where the package is being shipped to. We offer the following shipping methods:

Economy Shipping

If choosing economy shipping please add in additional postal information such as P.O. Box in the "Address Two" field on the checkout page to help ensure delivery.

Using economy shipping can also add an additional 5 - 10 days, depending on where the package is being shipped to. 

You will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped.

After products have shipped, all shipping company terms and conditions apply for lost or delayed packages. We will not refund the flag cost if UPS or any other shipping company has a delay in your package. We recommend ordering your signs early.

Delays because of Acts of God or anything beyond our control will not result in shipping refunds. If product is damaged in shipping, damaged goods must be returned, and then replacement product will be sent.

Lost packages will be replaced after shipping company confirms loss. This generally takes 7-10 business days after initial scheduled delivery.

Please order your signs early as we cannot control delivery after your product leaves our production facilities.

Q: What exactly is styrene material?

A: Styrene is a resilient yet flexible plastic that can be printed in full color, is conveniently storable, and is tough.

Q: Are these products able to be used outdoors?

A: We recommend using styrene indoors, but technically you can use them indoors and outdoors. While this material does not have a laminate, we do use UV resistant ink. When properly installed and maintained, this UV resistant ink can withstand outdoor exposure for 3-5 years.

Q: Can these signs be printed double-sided?

A:  Yes, these signs are available either single-sided or double-sided.

Q: What is the minimum order amount?

A: The minimum order quantity is one sign. We offer a bulk discount, so the more units that are ordered, the larger the applied discount will be.

Q: What are styrene signs commonly used for?

A: These products are typically used for trade show displays, menu boards, and directional signage.
